| Inspired by the magnificent Opera Performance “Ernani” in Milano the Opera Society was established in 1983 in Munich. At the same evening Plácido Domingo agreed to become Patron of the Opera Society. Today the club is called “BelOpera” The International Opera Club. | |

Since 1985 the club is also
supporting relief organisations that are operating worldwide helping
children who are on the edge of our society. Plácido Domingo inspired
us and people all over the world with his benefit concert after the
catastrophic earthquake in 1985. |

and will always be an important part of our philosophy. |
